Every piece begins the same way — a solid block of North American walnut, chosen for grain and density, held on the CNC bed while a precision cutter shapes the form.
The machine does the geometry. The hand does the rest.
Sanded four times, by hand.
80, 120, 220, 400 grit. Each pass takes off machine marks and softens edges until the wood feels warm, worn-in, alive.
Oiled, not lacquered.
We finish with pure walnut oil. No polyurethane, no plastic gloss. Color deepens with time. The piece ages the way wood is meant to.
Engraved deep.
Names, dates, initials — carved into the wood, then charred black with a fine tip so the letters stay legible for decades, not months.
Every keepsake ships in a natural linen sleeve, in a kraft box, with the maker card.
