Yes. Every sculpture ships with the names and date you enter at checkout, deep-engraved and charcoal-burned into the base at no additional cost. It's not an upgrade — it's the piece.

Solid, kiln-dried North American black walnut. Every piece is carved from a single block — no veneer, no MDF, no wood species mixing. The grain, color and weight you see in the photos are the real material.

The engraving is charcoal-burned 1.2 mm deep into the wood, not printed or inked. It will not fade in sunlight, wash out, or rub off with handling. It will outlast most furniture.

Every piece is made after you order — nothing is pre-engraved on a shelf. Production takes 2–4 business days. International shipping is tracked and typically arrives within 7–14 business days after that. You'll get a tracking number the moment the piece leaves the studio.

Names: 30 characters total (including "&" and spaces). Date: 20 characters. Longer strings are automatically shrunk to fit the engraving area cleanly — we've tested every length. If your names are exceptionally long, email us before ordering and we'll confirm the layout.

On every product page you'll see live inputs for Names and Date. Once you submit your order, we send you a proof PDF within 24 hours showing exactly how your engraving will look. Nothing goes on the bench until you approve the proof.

As long as we haven't started engraving (usually within 24 hours), we can update the details at no cost. Just reply to your order confirmation email. After engraving has begun, changes require a re-cut fee.

Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight for extended periods and don't set it in a bathroom or over a heater. Once a year, wipe with a drop of food-safe mineral oil to keep the walnut deepening its color. See our full Care Guide for more.

It's what we make it for. Personalized walnut is the traditional gift for the 5th anniversary. It also works for weddings, engagements, in-memoriams, and any milestone where "another candle" or "another card" isn't quite right.

If the engraving doesn't match what you approved on the proof, we replace it free of charge — you don't have to return the original. If you approved a proof with a typo, we can re-cut for a fee. See Shipping & Returns.
